Andy Gray and John Barnes predict Liverpool v Arsenal

Liverpool will face Arsenal at Anfield in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

Former Aston Villa and Everton striker Andy Gray has predicted on that Arsenal will win against Liverpool away from home.

Liverpool will take on Arsenal at Anfield in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

“The form book tells me Arsenal are the favourites at Anfield and I wouldn’t argue against that,” Gray has written on “I think this will be Arsenal showing everyone that they are capable of winning the league by beating Liverpool 2-1 with Olivier Giroud to get on the scoresheet.”

Former Liverpool and Newcastle United winger John Barnes, though, believes that the game at Anfield will end in a 1-1 draw.

“With their injury situation I think Liverpool will be happy with a draw. Had the game been set to be played at the Emirates I think Arsenal would be certain favourites, but the Anfield crowd will be up for it and will make a difference. Goalscorers – Christian Benteke and Mesut Ozil,” Barnes has predicted on

Arsenal will head into the match against Liverpool at Anfield on the back of a 3-1 victory over Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Gunners are in great form at the moment and will be favourites to pick up all three points at Anfield.

Liverpool, though, will be determined to win at Anfield, and the players will be buoyed by home advantage.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have not been playing particularly great in recent weeks, but the players will be keen on stepping up their game against Arsenal.
