Could Swansea City bring the talented left winger to the Liberty Stadium this month?
That equates to around £7.5million for the 20-year-old, but with 83 appearances for the Italian club already under his belt it may not be as risky as it sounds.
Swansea certainly need some reinforcements this month as they look to remain outside the Premier League’s relegation zone and Keita would add real spark to their line-up.
With 13 goals and 18 assists for Lazio he certainly has the ability to succeed in England. However, signing a young player from abroad is always a risk and for the money being mentioned it may be one too far for Swansea.
This season Keita has scored three goals and set up five more in 19 matches and with a contract until the summer of 2018 Lazio will know they do not have to cash in on him just yet unless they receive an offer too good to refuse.
Keita can operate on either wing or as a centre forward if required, meaning there are plenty of options for whoever does ultimately secure his signature.
