Report: Wolves interested in Henri Bedimo

Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion are among the clubs reportedly interested in Lyon defender Henri Bedimo in the January transfer window.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing defender Henri Bedimo from Lyon in the January transfer window, according to The Times.

The report has claimed that Premier League side West Bromwich Albion want the 31-year-old left-back as well.

Italian giants AC Milan and Turkish side Trabzonspor are also interested in Bedimo, according to The Times.

“Henri Bedimo, the left back out of contract at Lyons this summer who is being followed by West Bromwich Albion, has attracted interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Trabzonspor and AC Milan,” states the report in The Times.

Bedimo has been on the books of Lyon since 2013 and is out of contract in the summer transfer window.

The Cameroon international left-back has featured in 10 Ligue 1 games so far this season, creating five chances in the process.

The former Lens and Montpellier left-back has a pass accuracy of 83% and a shot accuracy of 75%, and has won three headers, 10 dribbles and 18 tackles.

Lyon are sixth in the Ligue 1 table at the moment with 29 points from 20 matches.

Meanwhile, Wolves currently find themselves 11th in the Championship table with 34 points from 25 games, seven points behind Ipswich Town, who are currently sixth and occupy the final playoff spot.
