Crystal Palace’s Dwight Gayle has been linked with Derby County, QPR, Newcastle and Norwich.
Dwight Gayle is allowed to leave Crystal Palace this month, Sky Sports reports.
The 24-year-old forward is heavily in demand in the top two tiers of English football, and his lack of chances under Alan Pardew have led him to discuss his future with the Eagles.
He is behind Connor Wickham and Marouane Chamakh in Pardew’s plans, and there are suggestions that a new striker is on Palace’s wishlist for the January window.
This will push Gayle even further down the pecking order, and the Eagles are willing to sanction his departure this month.
However, they will only allow him to leave if on a permanent transfer, with no loan exit agreeable for Pardew’s men.
Gayle is not short of suitors now that Palace are ready to sell him, with teams from the top two divisions hoping to bring him in this month.
Get West London claim that QPR want him, the Derby Telegraph reports on interest from Derby County, whilst talkSPORT have stated that Newcastle United and Norwich City have been making tentative moves concerning his transfer in the opening stages of the January window.
