QPR midfielder reacts on Twitter to Nottingham Forest man’s injury comeback

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin was delighted to see Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen return to action.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at the return to action of Nottingham Forest star Chris Cohen.

Cohen made his comeback from a long-term knee injury earlier this month when he featured in Forest’s Championship game against Charlton Athletic away from home at The Valley.

The 28-year-old midfielder came on as a substitute in the 86th minute, as Forest played out a 1-1 draw with Charlton. It was the former West Ham United man’s first appearance in a competitive game in 15 months.

Then on Saturday afternoon, Cohen started the FA Cup third-round tie against Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers at the City Ground. The Englishman played for 71 minutes, the Dougie Freedman’s side won the encounter 1-0.

QPR midfielder Faurlin, who has suffered with injury problems in recent years, is pleased to see Cohen back playing football.

Forest are 14th in the Championship table at the moment, while QPR are two places behind them in 16th.
