HITC Sport understands that Glasgow giants will not stand in pair's way
Rangers have told Nicky Law and Nicky Clark that they will not stand in their way of leaving the club this month, HITC Sport understands.
HITC Sport revealed that Barnsley had made a bid to land Clark earlier this month and it is also understood they have an interest in Law.
However, HITC Sport understands that a move to Barnsley for either player is now on the rocks as they have been unable to agree personal terms.
Instead a number of Championship and rival League One clubs are now taking a keen interest in the pair, who are both out of contract at Ibrox at the end of the season.
However, both players will be allowed to leave as Rangers have already made moves to replace them with deals done for Accrington Stanley's Matt Crooks and Dean Windass, whilst they also hope to land Brentford's Toumani Diagouraga.
Should Law and Clark depart they will end near three-year stints at Rangers, after both joined in 2013.
26-year-old Law arrived from Motherwell and has played over 100 games for the club scoring 26 goals, whilst Clark, 24, joined from Queen of the South - featuring 90 times and finding the back of the net 22 times.
