Fulham forward George Williams lined up for loan move

HITC Sport understands the Fulham forward is a target for a number of clubs on loan.

A number of clubs have enquired about signing Fulham's Wales international George Williams on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

The 20-year-old has yet to feature for the first-team this season after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained last March.

Williams suffered the injury while on loan at former club MK Dons, but he is now is back to full fitness and keen to be back playing regular first-team football.

The versatile attacker returned to action in September and has made eight appearances for Fulham's Under-21s as he works his way back to full fitness.

Williams, who made his debut for Fulham in August 2014, is highly-regarded at Craven Cottage and signed a new three-year deal at the club last January.

Williams is seeking a loan move away to get some first-team action under his belt as he wants to boost his chances of making Wales' squad for this summer's Euro 2016 finals in France.

A number of Championship and League One clubs have expressed an interest in Williams and Fulham are now deciding where is best for the player to go out loan to get back playing regularly.
