The West Ham co-owner took to social media after a thrilling 3-1 win at Bournemouth.
The east London side came back to win 3-1 against the Cherries and lift themselves back up to fifth place in the Premier League.
Gold, however, did single one player out - and there are no prizes for guessing which West Ham star he thought was 'sensational' v Bournemouth.
Indeed, Dimitri Payet scored one goal and created another at the Vitality Stadium.
On my way home. What a result. Two goals for Valencia, free kick from Payet who was sensational, rest of lads and the fans were great. dg— David Gold (@davidgold) January 12, 2016
The fans kept us in the game when we were losing 1-0 and were rewarded with three great goals to win the game. Well done you hammers. dg— David Gold (@davidgold) January 12, 2016
It's amazing how big of an impact one player can make. Payet has indeed been sensational all season for West Ham and the east London club's form without the Frenchman (when he was injured) just wasn't anywhere near the same.
Credit, of course, must also go to Enner Valencia, while the West Ham team as a whole are on fire right now.
Victor Moses and Manuel Lanzini aren't even back yet, although there is plenty of sympathy (and perhaps a little exasperation) where Andy Carroll is concerned. The target man once again came off injured for the Hammers - but this time after just 15 minutes.
