Newcastle take on Manchester United.
Newcastle host Manchester United this evening searching for an important win.
Steve McClaren's side are in 18th position in the Premier League, but can climb out of the relegation zone temporarily with a victory, which will lift them one point ahead of Swansea City, who play on Wednesday.
Manchester United are in need of all three points themselves. The Red Devils are three points behind Tottenham who are in fourth position.
Louis van Gaal's side have been in poor form over the past few weeks, but have managed to win their last two games, but only by a single goal, with Wayne Rooney netting both winners.
A narrow win thanks to a late goal gave the visitors the win in the corresponding fixture last year.
When the two teams met earlier this season it was a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford, with Florian Thauvin almost scoring a winner for Newcastle. The Frenchman is out of tonight's game after picking up an injury against Watford.
