Ballon d'Or: Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris' top three votes

Hugo Lloris

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris nailed his top three.

The way Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris voted in the Ballon d'Or can be revealed.

The French international captain was one of the few privileged players from around the world to be able to vote, and managed to get his top three selections spot on in the right order.

He picked Lionel Messi as his first choice, with Cristiano Ronaldo in second, followed by Neymar.

Messi won an unprecedented fifth award after a season he won the Champions League with his side once again, with Ronaldo relinquishing the trophy.

Lloris' France coach Didier Deschamps disagreed with his third choice, selecting Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller instead.

Tottenham fans may wonder where Harry Kane was on Lloris' shortlist. Clearly he has a little way to go in terms of impressing his club captain, despite his impressive 27 goal Premier League haul in 2015, and breaking into the England side.

A full breakdown of the voting can be viewed here.
