Leeds United defeated Rotherham United in the FA Cup at the weekend and will face Ipswich Town in the Championship on Tuesday.

Leeds United returned to winning ways at the weekend as they got the better of Rotherham United at home.

The Whites defeated Rotherham 2-0 at Elland Road in the third round of the FA Cup. Mustapha Carayol put the home team in the lead on the stroke of half time, and Souleymane Doukara added the second late on.

It was Leeds’s first win in four matches in all competitions, having drawn their last three games in the Championship.

The performance of Steve Evans’s side was very encouraging, and it sets them up nicely for this week’s game against Ipswich Town.

The West Yorkshire outfit will take on promotion-chasing Ipswich away from home at Portman Road in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

The three photos here sum up the mood that Leeds players are in at the moment ahead of the game: determined and confidence.

Leeds are 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 32 points from 25 matches, nine points behind Ipswich, who are currently sixth and occupy the final playoff spot.
