Sunderland are readying an offer of £11.2 million to sign Khouma Babacar of Fiorentina, Gazzetta World reports.
The Senegalese forward is current a big target for a number of Premier League sides, with the same report claiming Crystal Palace are also readying an offer for Babacar, whilst TMW stated last week that Tottenham and West Ham want him.
However, it is the Black Cats and Palace who are moving forward to actually sign the striker, lining up bids for him.
The report states that La Viola are considering letting Babacar leave, with the £11.2m (€15m) valuation closer to the fee that they want for the 22-year-old.
Babacar has scored four goals in just eight games this season, but his lack of minutes is forcing him to consider his role with Fiorentina during the January window.
It is stated that La Viola have already rejected an offer of €11m for the striker, but Babacar himself is insisting on a move should his first-team chances not improve.
Palace and Sunderland are readying their bids, knowing that Fiorentina will sanction his exit, and it would not come as a surprise to see West Ham also push forward with their interest in the coming weeks.
