Remi Garde has told the Birmingham Mail that he wants his Aston Villa side to raise their intensity levels against Crystal Palace.
Villa could only manage to draw 1-1 with League Two side Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup at the weekend, leaving supporters hugely frustrated.
Villa appeared to take their foot off the gas at Adams Park in their latest outing, and Garde is looking for a big improvement tomorrow evening.
"We would like to put the same intensity in against Palace as we did against West Ham," Garde said.
"We need the same feeling around the next game.
"If you look at the West Ham game, we were close to winning. Everyone gave 100% on the field."
Villa’s performance against West Ham saw them pick up a 1-1 draw, and it is arguably the finest display they have put in since Garde took charge.
The Claret and Blues matched West Ham for much of the game back on Boxing Day, and scored through Jordan Ayew after Aaron Cresswell had put the visitors in front.
Villa have not been able to build on that display yet, and Garde is still looking for his first win since taking charge at the Midlands club.
The French boss has failed to win any of his first 11 matches in the dugout at Villa, and the pressure is increasing on him by the game.
