HITC Sport understands the Macclesfield star is the subject of two bids from Football League clubs.
Two Football League clubs have tabled bids for prolific Macclesfield striker Kristian Dennis HITC Sport understands from sources close to the potential deal.
Dennis has been a revelation for Macclesfield this season after joining on loan from National League rivals Stockport last summer, scoring 21 goals in 26 appearances.
The 25-year-old's form has not gone unnoticed higher up the football pyramid with scouts from Football League clubs flocking to watch Dennis in action this season after being alerted to his goal-scoring exploits.
The likes of Oldham, Chesterfield and Hartlepool are all thought to be admirers of Dennis and are keen on signing him during this month's transfer window.
Dennis is out of contract at the end of the campaign and cash-strapped Stockport are likely to try to cash-in on him in January rather than risk losing the forward for nothing in the summer.
Dennis began his career at Macclesfield making four League Two appearances before dropping into non-league.
After brief spells with Woodley Sports, Ashton United and Mossley he enjoyed a prolific spell at Curzon Ashton, earning a move to Stockport in 2013.
