Luciano Becchio has taken to social networking site Twitter to thank the Leeds United fans for their support on Saturday afternoon.
Becchio was at Elland Road to watch the FA Cup third-round tie between Leeds and Rotherham United.
The Whites won the match 2-0 to book their place in the fourth round of the prestigious competition.
Mustapha Carayol put the home team in the lead on the stroke of half time, and Souleymane Doukara added the second late on.
Becchio played for Leeds from 2008 to 2013 and was hugely popular among the Elland Road faithful. The Argentine striker scored 75 goals in 190 league appearances for the West Yorkshire outfit.
The former Norwich City man is training with Rotherham at the moment, according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.
Becchio has taken to Twitter to express his delight at watching a game at Elland Road, with Leeds fans responding to his message on the social networking site Twitter.
