Lord Sugar reacts on Twitter to Tottenham draw, critical of Mauricio Pochettino

Lord Sugar was not pleased with Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s team selection for the FA Cup tie against Leicester City.

Lord Sugar has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino should have fielded a strong team against Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday evening.

Tottenham took on Premier League rivals Leicester in the third round of the prestigious competition at White Hart Lane.

The North London outfit failed to win the tie, scoring a 89th-minute penalty through Harry Kane to rescue a 2-2 draw.

Former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar was following the game, and he was not impressed with Pochettino’s team selection.

Pochettino left Hugo Lloris, Harry Kane, Erik Lamela and Dele Alli out of the team against Leicester.

One suspects that the Argentine made his decision keeping an eye on the Premier League game against Leicester at White Hart Lane on Wednesday evening.

The FA Cup is a prestigious competition, but Spurs are in a great position to finish in the top four of the Premier League and one can understand Pochettino’s decision.
