Speculation has linked them with moves to Arsenal, yet Flores told reporters when quizzed on the matter that the duo will be remaining at Vicarage Road beyond the January transfer window.
“It is normal as Deeney has scored a lot,” said Flores when asked about Arsenal's interest in his captain.
“Deeney and Ighalo are good players for this team, and for this project we need players of this level. I am sure these players will not be going in the middle of the season.”
According to a previous report published by the Daily Mail, Arsenal are said to be weighing up offers for both Deeney and Ighalo as they seek to bolster their striker options.
The talented duo have netted 20 of Watford’s 25 Premier League goals this season, an illustration of just how important they are to Flores Sanchez’s side.
Arsenal currently top the Premier League table but question marks remain over their ability upfront, despite Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott getting their fair share of goals this season.
The Gunners are looking to win their first league title in over a decade, but a number of observers feel without an addition or two in January they will subsequently fall just short in their quest.
