The Celtic striker netted on his full debut for the Bhoys.
The Hoops were in action against Stranraer in the Scottish Cup, the only domestic competition available to them that Celtic didn't win last season.
And Sinclair, also formerly of West Ham, was looking forward to the 32-year-old showing Bhoys fans what he could do on his first appearance from the start.
Celtic beat Stranraer 3-0 in the end to progress to the next round.
Sure enough, Cole found the back of the net and allowed Sinclair his moment to celebrate.
The 32-year-old got his name on the scoresheet alongside top scorer Leigh Griffiths, who netted a double.
As for Celtic as a whole, some disgruntled fans were disappointed with a defensive approach being adopted and Ronny Deila going one up top during the Stranraer clash.
Whether the Bhoys were convincing or not, though, they won 3-0 - and, with results being the most important thing at all times, that's what will be remembered from this weekend.
