Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Kevin Wimmer against Leicester City on Sunday evening.
Wimmer started the FA Cup third-round tie against Leicester at White Hart Lane in North London.
The 23-year-old central defender played for the entire 90 minutes, as Spurs played out a 2-2 draw with their Premier League rivals.
Christian Eriksen put the home team in the lead with a low drive after Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel parried Nacer Chadli's shot.
Marcin Wasilewski headed home the equaliser for the Foxes in the 19th minute, before Shinji Okazaki fired Claudio Ranieri’s side ahead just three minutes into the second half.
England international striker Harry Kane scored the equaliser for Spurs in the 89th minute from the penalty spot.
It was a rare start for Wimmer, who joined Tottenham from German club FC Koln in the summer of 2015.
Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the Austria international’s performance against Leicester.
Below are some of the best comments:
Toby massively missed Jan at the back but I thought Wimmer had a great game despite conceding two! Rose great and Trippier average! #THFC— Harry Hotspur (@HarryHotspurWHL) January 10, 2016
Not at all impressed today, Trippier, Carroll, Chadli, Onamah, Eriksen, Son all not good enough IMO. Wimmer did well though #THFC— HiggyHotspur (@NickHiggy4) January 10, 2016
Wimmer has been desperately unlucky of the form & chemistry which Vertonghen & Alderweireld have got together. Looked very good today. #THFC— Ricky Sacks (@RickSpur) January 10, 2016

I feel so bad for how few games Wimmer has been given, he'd have played every game this season if Toby had chosen Southampton— Corbit (@Corbit_THFC) January 10, 2016
