Blackman recently joined Derby from Championship rivals Reading on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The striker made his debut for the Rams on Saturday afternoon, as he featured against Hartlepool United away from home at Victoria Park.
The 26-year-old started the FA Cup third-round tie and played for 76 minutes, as Derby won 2-1.
After a goalless first half, Jake Gray put the home team in the lead just past the hour mark. Jacob Butterfield restored parity for Derby in the 67th minute, and Darren Bent scored the winner on 85 minutes.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Victoria Park, Paul Clement’s side had 58% of the possession, took 11 shots of which six were on target, and earned seven corners.
Blackman has taken to Twitter to express his delight at making his debut for the Rams, with Derby fans responding to him on the social networking site.
