Queens Park Rangers went down 1-0 to Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Queens Park Rangers duo Joe Lumley and Michael Doughty have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the exit from the FA Cup.

Rangers suffered a 1-0 defeat to Championship rivals Nottingham Forest away from home in the third round of the prestigious competition on Saturday afternoon.

Jamie Ward’s goal in the 24th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides at the City Ground.

Goalkeeper Lumley and midfielder Doughty have given their reaction to the defeat on Twitter.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon, hosts Forest had 51% of the possession, took five shots of which only one was on target, and earned two corners.

Visitors Rangers had 49% of the possession, took five shots of which three were on target, and earned nine corners.

QPR will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Blackburn Rovers away from home at Ewood Park in the Championship.
