The Uruguayan made his debut for Everton this weekend.
Everton took on Dagenham and Redbridge in the FA Cup this weekend and came out of the game with a comfortable 2-0 victory.
Arouna Kone headed Everton in front whilst Kevin Mirallas found the back of the net from the penalty spot in a game that Everton dominated.
It was also a good game in terms of injury problems. Phil Jagielka played a whole game whilst Steven Pienaar also made his return to action. Roberto Funes Mori suffered a facial injury, but his withdrawal saw Matthew Pennington get a chance.
Bryan Oviedo also got a game, as did Darron Gibson.
But the player that Everton fans were most excited to see in action was Leandro Rodriguez.
The 23-year-old Uruguayan forward arrived at the club from Argentine giants River Plate.
He came in to the game late for Aaron Lennon and had little time to make any sort of impact in the game.
However just to see him get a chance, a player with definite potential, was a promising landmark.
Here is what Everton fans on Twitter thought about his performance...
