Carlton Cole scored in his first start for Celtic today.
Celtic moved into the next round of the Scottish Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Scottish League One side Stranraer this afternoon.
The Bhoys travelled to Stair Park for a potential banana skin of a game, especially given the underwhelming performances from Ronny Deila's men.
However, they recorded a convincing victory, with Leigh Griffiths scoring twice, either side of Carlton Cole's first goal for Celtic.
The 32-year-old, who joined the Bhoys on a free transfer back in October having been released by West Ham United at the end of last season, has been working on his fitness having spent a while without a club.
After three appearances for the club, Cole was handed a start against Stranraer, and he didn't disappoint, notching his first goal for the club with a powerful header at the back post.
After the game, Celtic fans took to Twitter in order to react to Cole's performance, with many delighted to see him grab that first goal in green and white hoops.
Fans noted that he had done more in one half of football than fellow striker Nadir Ciftci has all season, and urged Ronny Deila to play both Cole and Griffiths up front together in future, rather than stick with one up front.
Here are some of the reactions from Celtic fans after Cole's performance against Stranraer?
