QPR suffered a 1-0 defeat to Championship rivals Nottingham Forest away from home in the third round of the prestigious competition on Saturday afternoon.
Jamie Ward’s goal in the 24th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides at the City Ground.
Former QPR winger and Club Ambassador Sinton has admitted his disappointment with the final result on Twitter.
Second half performance far better than the first but lacked cutting edge in final third. Frustrating #FORvQPR— Andy Sinton (@AndySintonQPR) January 9, 2016
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon, hosts Forest had 51% of the possession, took five shots of which only one was on target, and earned two corners.
Visitors Rangers had 49% of the possession, took five shots of which three were on target, and earned nine corners.
QPR will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Blackburn Rovers away from home at Ewood Park in the Championship.
