West Ham send message to BBC pundit on Twitter after win against Wolves

West Ham United won 1-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham United have sent a message to former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson on social networking site Twitter.

The London outfit have sarcastically asked the BBC pundit if he has any thoughts about the win against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Lawrenson had predicted on BBC Sport the Hammers to slip up against Wolves in the third round of the FA Cup, but Slaven Bilic’s side won 1-0.

Nikica Jelavic’s goal in the 85th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides at Boleyn Ground.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, hosts West Ham had 57% of the possession, took 12 shots of which five were on target, and earned six corners.

Visitors Wolves, who are playing in the Championship at the moment, had 43% of the possession, took just two shots of which one was on target, and earned five corners.

West Ham will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on relegation-threatened Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League.
