Ronald Koeman and Matt Le Tissier react on Twitter to Southampton’s FA Cup exit

Southampton went down 2-1 to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s exit from the FA Cup.

The Saints suffered a 2-1 defeat to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Joel Ward fired in from Jason Puncheon's pass to put Palace in the lead, only for Oriol Romeu to equalise six minutes into the second half.

Wilfried Zaha restored Palace’s lead midway through the second half, as the Eagles went on to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Koeman has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the exit, with Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier making an interesting remark on the social networking site.

Le Tissier’s former club, Eastleigh, are in with a chance of progressing to the fourth round of the FA Cup. Chris Todd’s side, who play in the National League, held Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers 1-1 at home to earn a replay.
