Nottingham Forest star Dani Pinillos confirms he has left hospital after horror knee injury

Nottingham Forest Stadium Night

The Spaniard was being treated in Barcelona.

This week saw Nottingham Forest make a loan move for Villarreal's Slovenian left-back Bojan Jokic - a deal that has been somewhat enforced.

Summer signing Dani Pinillos has been a consistently impressive performer for the club at left-back this season, but he will play no more part in the current campaign.

Pinillos tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the game with MK Dons just before Christmas and he will be sorely missed at the club - hence the arrival of Jokic.

This week has now seen the Spaniard send out a message regarding his progress in the injury recovery.

Pinillos flew to Barcelona for treatment on the injury and he has now confirmed he has left the hospital after lengthy treatment on what certainly appears to be a very serious injury.

Forest have not had much luck in recent times regarding long-term injuries. Britt Asombalonga has been out for nearly a year with a dislocated knee whilst Andy Reid and Matty Fryatt do not seem to be anywhere closer to a return to first-team action at present.

Hopefully the treatment Pinillos has had in Spain will see him recover swiftly for Forest.
