The youngster is highly rated at the Emirates and impressed in midweek for the U-21s.
The youngster is widely regarded as one of Arsenal’s brightest young talents, with many predicting he could be a future first team star for Arsene Wenger’s first team.
He is yet to feature for the senior squad since joining from Lens in the summer, but has starred for the Arsenal U-21’s already this season.
His last performance saw him bag two goals in midweek, a game Arteta was also a part of, and the Spaniard was impressed with what he saw, anticipating a bright future in the game for the young star.
“I think Jeff has got really big potential,” Arteta told the club’s official website.
“I believe he has all the attributes to become a really good play. He’s doing really well and when he trains with us, you can tell that he’s quite comfortable.”
“I think he really wants it. He is hungry and if you give him time, he could have a really positive career as he has something about him.”
A big positive for Adelaide will be that he is currently at a club and playing for a manager that has a fine history of developing young talent.
Arsene Wenger is well known for his development of youth since arriving in England, with his current squad also a clear indication of that.
Last year saw Francis Coquelin and Hector Bellerin break into the side, and both are now regular first team stars, showing that chances are there for young talent to break through and establish themselves at the Emirates.
