David Gold reacts on Twitter to West Ham’s win against Wolves

West Ham United won 1-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The Premier League outfit got the better of Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at home in the third round of the prestigious competition on Saturday afternoon.

Nikica Jelavic’s goal in the 85th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides at the Boleyn Ground in London.

Gold has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the Hammers’ progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Boleyn Ground, hosts West Ham had 57% of the possession, took 12 shots of which five were on target, and earned six corners.

Visitors Wolves, who are playing in the Championship at the moment, had 43% of the possession, took just two shots of which one was on target, and earned five corners.
