Sheffield Wednesday fans react on Twitter to Darryl Lachman loan exit

Sheffield Wednesday

Darryl Lachman has left Sheffield Wednesday for SC Cambuur on a loan deal.

Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to social networking site to have their say on the departure of Darryl Lachman.

The 26-year-old has left Wednesday for SC Cambuur on loan for the remainder of the season.

Lachman joined the Owls in the summer of 2015 and has a contract with the Championship outfit until June 2017, as reported by Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Much was expected of the Curacao international when he moved to Wednesday, but he has failed to make a huge impact at the Hillsborough Stadium.

The former FC Twente could not make a single first-team appearance for Carlos Carvalhal’s side this season.

Cambuur are playing in the Eredivisie at the moment and are third from bottom in the league table.

Henk de Jong’s side have picked up 13 points from 17 matches and are in danger of getting relegated to the second tier of Dutch football at the end of the season.

Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the departure of Lachman on a loan deal.
