Report: Wolverhampton Wanderers plot additions of Dean Moxey and Dorian Dervite from Bolton Wanderers

Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen to add more defenders to their ranks in January.

According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, Wolverhampton Wanderers are planning to raid Bolton Wanderers for two of their first-team stars in the January transfer window.

Bolton need to sell players to raise funds, with their financial situation becoming increasingly perilous, and Kenny Jackett apparently plans to take advantage of their plight.

Wolves are reportedly set to bid for both Dorian Dervite and Dean Moxey, who they believe could be available at a cut price.

Wolves currently only have five senior defenders at the club, meaning strengthening the back-line has become the Midland outfit’s priority in January.

Dervite is a centre back, who has played 15 times in the Championship this season for the Trotters.

Moxey, meanwhile, has made played 18 times for Neil Lennon’s side at left-back.

Bolton are currently sat at the foot of the Championship table, but Jackett believes the duo would increase the depth of options available to him, and reportedly could submit bids for the pair in the coming days.
