Photos: Chelsea-linked Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks fully committed in Arsenal training

The 22-year-old was focused during first-team training with the Gunners on Friday afternoon.

According to the Sun, Chelsea are targeting Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as a replacement for 'wantaway' Eden Hazard.

It's a strange one, for sure.

The Arsenal midfielder would risk the wrath of fans in north London were he to do an Ashley Cole and move to the Blues while still young and holding plenty of potential.

At the same time, though, the Ox is no Hazard replacement. As Arsenal supporters will freely admit, the young, injury-prone Gunner has been erratic at best this season. Yes, he scored the winner against Chelsea in the Community Shield - but that was pre-season (and still Oxlade-Chamberlain's highlight of the season).

The rumour looks to be non starter. But stranger things have happened...

In Arsenal training on Friday afternoon, the 22-year-old looked fully committed ahead of his side's FA Cup clash with Sunderland this weekend. That could put some of the Chelsea gossip to bed, although the Ox might not have even been aware of the interest unless someone showed him a link or shoved a newspaper in front of him.

Here's how Oxlade-Chamberlain got on in Arsenal practice...
