They say the advantage of youth is a lack of fear in the face of failure. Younger players have experienced less and therefore lost less - so they don't know how much defeat hurts.
Arsene Wenger has been keen to give his youth stars as much training time with the senior side as possible this season - indeed, Alex Iwobi and Jeff Reine-Adelaide are semi-regular fixtures and were in training once again on Friday.
But Nelson is a newer face and, at 16, that's no surprise. He wasn't afraid to go all out and can be seen on the ball looking totally unfazed.
Arsenal, of course, were preparing for their FA Cup tie with Sunderland this weekend, where they will be heavy favourites. It's a tag the Gunners will have to get used to. They currently sit top of the Premier League and have won this particular cup for the last two years running.
