Ian Harte reacts on Twitter to Bournemouth's links with Grabban and Afobe

The former Bournemouth man feels both the Norwich and Wolves strikers would fit in well with the Cherries.

Ian Harte believes Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Benik Afobe would be a good signing for Bournemouth.

However, the 38-year-old says Norwich City's Lewis Grabban would be the 'perfect' player for the Cherries.

Whether Harte is advocating signing both the Wolves forward and the Canaries man is unclear but the ex-Bournemouth defender certainly appears to be a fan of the duo. The big question, of course, is: how big of a fan is Eddie Howe?

Both strikers have been prolific at Championship level but the only criticism you could aim at them is that their Premier League credentials are as of yet unproven.

Bournemouth need goals, though, and Afobe has scored bundles of them at Wolves, while Grabban could be available having also been in and among the goals in the recent past at Norwich.

They may present the most realistic targets for Bournemouth this transfer window and the question is whether one (or both) of them will be enough to keep them in the Premier League.

Naturally, how much Wolves and Norwich want to hold on to their forwards comes into play, too.
