Carlton Palmer said on The Two Mikes show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (January 8) that Leeds United will win against Rotherham United this weekend.
The Whites will face Championship rivals Rotherham at Elland Road in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
"I think that’s a win for Leeds, I really do," said the former Leeds midfielder. "It won’t be easy, but they have got home advantage, so they should really see that one out."
Leeds will head into the tie at Elland Road on the back of a 1-1 draw with Milton Keynes Dons at home in the Championship.
Steve Evans’s side have drawn their last three league games, although picking up a point each against Nottingham Forest and Derby County is not a bad result. The Whites have the better team and should be considered favourites to win the tie.
Meanwhile, Rotherham current find themselves just a place above the relegation zone in the Championship, level on points with third-from-bottom Bristol City.
Neil Redfearn’s side main objective this season is to avoid the drop to League One, but one suspects that they will be keen on winning against Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
