Maybe they should lower Wayne Rooney's stats to make him get his finger out...?
It's hard to remember a time when Harry Kane wasn't scoring for fun for Tottenham Hotspur, but in reality, it has only been just over a year since he broke into the first-team and made a huge impression at White Hart Lane.
The striker had a massive 2015, scoring 31 goals in all competitions and making his England debut before becoming a bit of a regular in Roy Hodgson's starting XI in recent games. However, before then, Kane had some pretty unremarkable loan spells at the likes of Norwich and Leicester City.
However, something clicked for the 22-year-old and now he's banging them in. With his new-found form, Kane has managed to prove a lot of people wrong, including a few video game developers. In recent years, Kane has had some pretty shoddy stats on games like Football Manager and FIFA.
And it turns out that those low ratings are something which spurred (pun intended) Kane on to just keep on scoring - or so he jokingly told Football manager head-honcho, Miles Jacobson: "I met him at the London Football Awards and he is known for playing a lot of computer games and I said 'we get 0.5 percent wrong, you were one that we got wrong,' and he said to me one of the reasons he was trying so hard was to make sure his stats were better in the game!" Jacobson told the Mirror.
He also claimed went as far as having to apologise to the striker: "We did always have him as all right but I have personally said sorry to him because there was a long period where he was on loan at other clubs and we didn't think he was going to reach the heights that he has done."
With Kane already scoring 11 goals in just 20 games for Spurs in the Premier League, we reckon that Kane might be due another big upgrade in the next edition of Football Manager... though we're really not looking forward to trying to defend against him!
