Report: Tottenham Hotspur to keep Alex Pritchard and Kevin Wimmer

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard was reportedly interesting both Swansea City and Norwich City.

According to a report on Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur have no plans to loan out Alex Pritchard or Kevin Wimmer in the January transfer window.

Pritchard has been out injured for the bulk of the campaign so far, but he is expected to make his return to action in the near future.

There were doubts over whether the youngster would be able to break into Spurs’ first team, and both Norwich City and Swansea City were preparing loan offers for the attacking midfielder.

However, Mauricio Pochettino is said to want to keep Pritchard at White Hart Lane - as he believes he can have a part to play this season.

The Argentine manager is also determined to keep hold of Wimmer, despite interest from Germany.

Wimmer has found it hard to break into Tottenham’s team since arriving this summer, and he has made just three appearances for the Lilywhites.

The 23-year-old is still yet to make his Premier League debut, but Pochettino wants to keep him around as cover.

Tottenham will also reject loan offers for Harry Winks, with Championship clubs reportedly tracking the midfielder.
