Tottenham are reportedly expected to make a move for Napoli's Manolo Gabbiadini.
According to SportItalia's Alfredo Pedulla, Tottenham are expected to make an offer for Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini - but face competition from Crystal Palace and West Ham.
One of the keys will be keeping striker Harry Kane fit, given that the England international has hit 11 goals in 20 Premier League games this season - but Spurs are expected to make a move for a new striker during this month's transfer window.
Backup for Kane is needed, and SportItalia's Alfredo Pedulla is reporting that Tottenham are making a move for Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini.
The 24-year-old joined Napoli from Sampdoria last season, having hit nine goals in 15 games for the Serie A club - and whilst he racked up 11 goals in 30 games for Napoli in the second half of last term, he hasn't enjoyed his time under Maurizio Sarri.
With just four starts in all competitions, Gabbiadini has barely featured for Napoli, though he has made the most of his nine substitute appearances, hitting five goals and two assists.
Given that Euro 2016 is on the horizon, Gabbiadini will be hoping to make it into the Italy squad, and a move to White Hart Lane could give him a chance to impress - but Tottenham aren't the only club making a bid to sign Gabbiadini this month.
The report claims that London rivals Crystal Palace and West Ham United are also hoping to land the forward, and it's stated that Napoli are expected to receive offers from Tottenham as well as Palace and West Ham in the coming days.
