According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Norwich City will demand £15 million should they allow Nathan Redmond to leave the club.
Crystal Palace have identified Redmond as a potential addition in January, as they look to make sure they have cover for the in-demand Yannick Bolasie.
Bolasie is not expected to leave Selhurst Park in the current transfer window, but the Eagles believe they will face a fight to keep him beyond the summer.
As a result Alan Pardew is planning for the worst case scenario, and he has identified Redmond as an ideal addition.
The England youth international is one of Norwich’s most vital attacking players, but the Canaries are willing to relinquish him if a big bid comes in.
Whether Palace will match their high asking price remains to be seen, but Redmond’s style of play would be a good match for the Selhurst Park club.
Redmond has a directness about his play, and he would thrive under a manager who offers his players as much freedom as Pardew does.
