Fiorentina and Liverpool are both keen on Anderlecht ace.
Liverpool are battling Fiorentina for Anderlecht ace Dennis Praet, report Italian website GianlucadiMarzio.com.
Praet has 18 months left on his contract, and Fiorentina are keen enough that they have contacted both the club and the player's father.
The report does not say whether Liverpool have made an approach of their own, but describes the interest from the Reds as 'strong'.
Praet, 21, has been a regular in the Anderlecht side since he was a teenager, and was the winner of Belgium's Golden Shoe for the best young player in 2014.
The attacking midfielder has one international cap for Belgium and has represented his country at every level from under-16 through to under-21s.
He would fit into Jurgen Klopp's plan at Liverpool to sign the best young talents from around Europe, with Serbia's Marko Grujic already added.
