Belgium international striker Romelu Lukaku put Everton back ahead just two minutes later, and it eventually ended 2-1 to the home team.
Former Everton defender Ball was following the game, and he picked three players for praise on Twitter: Gareth Barry, Muhamed Besic and Lukaku.
