Former Rangers forward Kal Naismith has taken to Twitter to congratulate Matt Crooks and Josh Windass after they signed deals with the Gers.
Rangers confirmed on their official website on Wednesday evening that both Crooks and Windass, currently playing in League Two with Accrington, have both signed pre-contract agreements to join Rangers at the end of the season.
21-year-old central midfielder Crooks has notched an impressive seven goals this season for John Coleman's men, whilst playmaker Windass - also 21- had become one of the biggest up-and-coming stars in League Two having hit 11 goals so far this term.
Both players are out of contract at the end of the season, and will begin their Rangers careers in January after today's announcement, where they penned four-year deals at Ibrox.
One man well placed to comment on the moves is Kal Naismith, who not only played with Crooks and Windass at Accrington last season, but also came up through the ranks with Rangers.
Currently on loan at Hartlepool Town from Portsmouth, Naismith took to Twitter in order to send both of his former team-mates a message, saying that both players deserved their big moves.
Naismith also passed on a heartfelt message, stating 'what a club' both players have signed for, having been attached to Rangers from a young age right up until his departure in 2013.
