Wednesday are set to host Fulham in the FA Cup third round on Saturday and Jokanovic is expecting a tough test for his side.
The Cottagers boss believes that the Owls have a number of attacking players who can cause problems, and he singled out Atdhe Nuhiu, Lucas Joao and Fernando Forestieri as particular dangers.
“It’s not only one player,” he explained. “Sheffield have very good players. They’re a very strong, very tall team with good players, especially in the attacking line, with [Atdhe] Nuhiu, [Lucas] Joao, or Fernando Forestieri.
“This team is a good team, they’re actually right now fighting for promotion or Play-Offs. We need to respect them.”
Wednesday and Fulham should be very familiar with each other’s squads, as they only met each other last weekend in the Championship.
On that occasion Carlos Carvalhal’s side won 1-0 thanks to an absolute belter from Ross Wallace.
That win has strengthened Wednesday’s bid for a top six spot, while it has kept Fulham down in the bottom half of the table.
The Cottagers have been in disappointing form throughout the campaign so far, but they will be hoping that the appointment of Jokanovic can help inspire them to start climbing up the Championship table in 2016.
