Dutch media report that Nottingham Forest are planning to end Kyle Ebecilio loan deal

FC Twente

The midfielder has struggled with injuries during his time at the club.

Reports in Holland are suggesting that Nottingham Forest are set to pull the plug on one of their loan deals - with Kyle Ebecilio all set to return to parent club FC Twente.

A report from SoccerNews claims that the midfielder will be allowed to leave Forest in order to facilitate a move for Aston Villa midfielder Gary Gardner in the coming days.

The former Arsenal youngster arrived at Forest in August ahead of interest from several other Championship teams.

Unfortunately his time with the club has been a disappointment.

He struggled with his fitness during his City Ground spell and with Gardner arriving and Chris Cohen and Robert Tesche back to full fitness, Forest simply do not need him.

The 21-year-old has played just five games for Forest in that time.

His next move would seem complicated. Twente allowed him to leave the club to alleviate their own crippling financial position so he would seemingly be free to head to another team in England if somebody is willing to take a punt on an obviously talented but unlucky midfield maestro.
