Rangers have signed in-demand Accrington duo on pre-contracts.
Rangers have won the race for the Accrington duo Josh Windass and Matt Crooks after signing the pair on pre-contracts, the club have confirmed via their official website.
A host of clubs have been chasing the highly-rated pair, who have caught the eye at Accrington this season, but Rangers have moved quickly to head off the interest from other clubs by agreeing deals to take them to Ibrox.
Windass and Crooks are out of contract at Accrington at the end of the season and are free to sign pre-contracts with the Scottish giants.
HITC Sport understands Windass and Crooks have agreed four-and-a-half year deals at Rangers after agreeing personal terms and passing medicals on Wednesday.
There is still the possibility that the duo could join Rangers during this month's transfer window with the Scottish Championship leaders in talks with Accrington about signing the pair early.
Their signings will come as a major boost to Rangers as they look to secure promotion back to the Scottish Premiership this season.
Rangers have been busy in this month's transfer window having already signed Doncaster winger Harry Forrester and ex-Lech Poznan goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski on short-term deals until the end of the season
