Confirmed: Everton and Manchester City line-ups

Everton Goodison 3

Here is how Everton and Manchester City will line up this evening:

Everton welcome Manchester City to Goodison Park tonight for the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final.

The Toffees have not struggled in front of goal this season, with Romelu Lukaku on fire, but they have struggled for wins and with only three victories in 11 home matches this season they will have to up their game against City.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side is currently third in the Premier League, just three points behind leaders Arsenal. However they are on for a possible if unlikely quadruple and will be taking this competition very seriously with the final drawing ever closer.

City are undefeated in their last five matches against Everton, winning four and drawing one, but Roberto Martinez’s side could take an advantage to the Etihad Stadium if they play to their full potential.

If they do, Lukaku will be key, although he is by no means the only dangerous player in Everton’s ranks and City will be all too aware of that.
