These two Tottenham teenagers are putting real pressure on, says Ehiogu
Goddard is 18 and Miller 19, and both are showing form which is making them an essential part of a very competitive under-21 set up.
Speaking to Tottenham's official website, Ehiogu praised the duo, despite the team falling to a 3-1 loss to Manchester United on Monday night.
He said: "I'm pleased for Cy Goddard and Will Miller as well, they both look stronger and are starting to ask questions of some of the other players."
Goddard is an attacking midfielder and is a youth international for Japan, while Miller can also play the same role, as well as being able to operate up front as a striker.
Ehiogu also had praise for Joe Pritchard, who scored his first ever under-21 goal in the victory, a big step after being troubled by injuries, which caused him to miss an entire year of action.
He said: "Joe has had to be patient, a lot of questions have been asked of him but he always comes in with a smile, is always positive and it's really pleasing for him."
Tottenham's under-21 side are third in the league, and the competition for places has to be a positive going forward. Their loss to United saw them miss a chance to gain ground on Sunderland and Reading, who are above them.
