Peterborough United have extended the loan of Martin Samuelsen from West Ham United until the end of the season.

Peterborough United supporters have reacted with delight after Martin Samuelsen’s loan from West Ham United was extended until the end of the season.

Samuelsen had initially been scheduled to return to Upton Park in the next week, but the two clubs agreed to prolong the loan deal.

It means that the 18-year-old attacking midfielder will remain with Peterborough, in a major boost to Graham Westley’s side’s promotion chances.

As things stand, Posh are just inside the play off positions in League One, but they have made no secret of their desire to break into the automatic promotion spots.

To have Samuelsen available is a major boost, as the Norwegian has already made a wonderful impression.

The Hammers loanee has dazzled with his skill at the ABAX Stadium, and he scored a brilliant solo goal to win the match for his temporary club when they took on Sheffield United at the weekend.

Samuelsen has been deployed as an attacking midfielder and a striker during his time with Posh, and it has taken him no time to win over the supporters of the League One outfit.

The youngster’s name has already been chanted at the ABAX Stadium on regular occasions, and he looks set to play an important part for Posh for the remainder of the campaign.

Here is the best reaction to the news his loan would be extended from Posh fans.
