Ian Wright has told The Sun that he believes that Tottenham Hotspur have four players who are ‘fearless’.
The Lilywhites have looked a real threat going forward, and Wright has been impressed with four players in particular.
The former Arsenal striker identified Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele as Tottenham’s game changers, due to their skill in possession.
“In Alli, Harry Kane, Eric Dier, and Mousa Dembele, when he’s fit again, Tottenham have players who can turn games and who won’t be discouraged from trying something a bit different,” Wright said. “They are fearless.”
Part of the reason why Tottenham’s players have been made to look so confident in possession, has to be attributed to Mauricio Pochettino's managerial style.
Although the Argentine boss demands a strong structure to his side’s defensive shape, he allows his players freedom to express themselves when on the ball.
Tottenham have thrived under his stewardship so far, and they appear to be in with an excellent chance of claiming a Champions League qualification spot, if they maintain their current performance levels.
