The Hull Daily Mail has suggested that both West Bromwich Albion and Everton are interested in signing the right-back in the January transfer window.
And Bruce says that Elmohamady’s head has been turned by the rumours linking him with Premier League clubs.
"There has been nothing for Elmo (in terms of offers)," he said. "I think, with him in particular, it is affecting him. All this nonsense about he is going here, there and everywhere. “
Bruce has confirmed that he intends to keep Hull’s key players at the KC Stadium beyond January to the Daily Mirror today, meaning that any move for Elmohamady seems unlikely.
The Egyptian has been a regular in Hull’s first team this term, and he plays a very important role for them.
If Hull were to lose Elmohamady it would harm their chances of promotion, as they bid to make it back into the Premier League.
Hull are currently one of the leading contenders for promotion from the Championship - and they sit in third place in the standings, just one point back from the automatic promotion spots.
